There’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately – how utterly rare and necessary real connection is, and how elusive it can feel, especially as adults.
I don’t know about you, but making friends in adulthood isn’t as easy as it once was. We’re all so full of responsibilities, expectations, distractions. We’re moving through our days, a never-ending juggle of logistics and timelines and to-do lists that breed new tasks while we sleep. And somewhere, somehow, the chances to truly connect – to just sit with someone and feel completely seen – get fewer and further between.
